Now that The Voice has ended for Season 4, I can catch up with news about former American Idol contestants.
Let’s start with Josh Gracin, who finished fourth way back on Season 2 of Idol.
Josh Gracin has a new single out and is planning an EP this fall. The former Marine has a new single, is touring and plans to release an EP in the fall.
The new song, released late last month, is called “Drink It Gone,” and I’ve embedded it below.
It features a mix of country and rock that will be prevalent on the upcoming EP, set for release sometime in the fall, according to Josh’s website.
Since Idol, Josh has released three albums, including a 2004 self-titled debut that spawned three top 10 country singles.
His last album, “Redemption,” was released in September 2011 and peaked at 39 on Billboard’s country albums chart.
As for his current tour, if you plan to visit Myrtle Beach later this week (don’t I wish), you can catch him at the Spanish Galleon Thursday night.
He also has tour dates in Alabama and Florida this weekend. Most of the upcoming dates are in the Midwest. Go here for the list.
